Nearly half way there! A dedication to my Mom and Dad, a line from their wedding song, and after nearly 40 years of marriage (which is pretty rare these days!) this one is for them. 

Tried to do is completely typographic and let the lyrics speak for themselves 'cos they are so beautiful. Not too sure whether I have pulled it off on this one, but it was worth an experiment.

Seeing as Fall Out Boy have a new single out today, and I have had this one in the back of my mind for quite a while, it kind of felt like today should be the day. 

Fall Out Boy's first album was the only thing I had on cassette tape that I played in my car when I was about 17/18. So the summer Sugar We're Going Down came out, I would play it non stop. Ah the good old emo days.

(And yup, already noticed the you're when it should be a your. And yup, already kicking myself. When I come to touch them all up and pop them up for sale, this will be alllll gramatically correct)

So this one was a bit rushed, delayed trains, and pens running dry meant getting the paint out at 10.30pm, not the best. 

Would love to spend hours on this one, really getting it bang on type wise, but this is why it is a challenge, right?

Cheated a bit today seeing as it's the boys birthday and we are off to London for the weekend so recycling an oldie but a goodie I did for my good friend Phillippa's British Heart Foundation exhibition last year for Valentines Day, also based around love and all things red.

If anyone wants to buy this print I sold them for £25 with all proceeds going to The British Heart Foundation.

Have already had quite a bit of interest in yesterday's print and the following ones to come (although I haven't done them yet so don't hold your breath!) but am thinking of when I am done, making the prints available to buy with any profit going to The Frenchay Hospital's Plastic Dressings Clinic. Those of you will know me will agree that it is a place very close to my heart with some nurses who work there being very worthy of money towards their clinic. So watch this space!
